Shear wall is a light wood structure house important bearing members, lateral force resisting capability of research is essential. The main contents of this paper: study on a large number of the light wood frame shear walls' nonlinear finite element analysis, consider anisotropic elastoplastic mechanical properties of wood material constitutive model,as well as the connecting member shear failure and even pulled out of the nonlinear process, analysis parameters were changed bone column spacing, location and size of wall openings, the depth-width ratio, axial compression ratio, access to wood shear wall structure and the main factors affect the performance of the law of force, and light wooden structure mechanical characteristics and performance of shear deformation for the establishment of light wood frame shear force transmission model and calculation method of bearing capacity of the wall thinning theoretical foundation. The study come to the following important conclusions:(1)with the area of the hole and the hole degree of bias increases, the sharp decline of the wall bearing capacity, when the hole area ratio greater than 60%, or the width of the hole and the wall width ratio(s / L) is greater than 2.(2) The wall lateral stiffness be reduced with increasing of height-width ratio and bone column spacing decreases, when heightwidth ratio exceeds 2: 1, Little effect bone column spacing to lateral stiffness.(3) Specification provisions of bone column spacing ranges from 300mm-600 mm, when height-width ratio less than 2, the cover panel to assume the proportion of 45% to 90%, when height-width ratio is greater than 2, the cladding panels bear was significantly increased.(4) Applying an appropriate axial compression can effectively improve the bearing capacity of the wall, the lateral deformation capacity is also improved. Asked the following design suggestion: 1) The wall height-width ratio of not more than 2, the hole area ratio of not more than 60%, and the width of the hole and the wall width ratio(s / L) is not greater than 2; 2) when the wall height-width ratio is less than 0.4, the value of bone column spacing is recommended in the range of 400mm-600mm; when the wall height-width ratio is between 0.4 and 2, the value of bone column spacing is recommended in the range of 200mm- 400mm; 3) When hole width greater than 2 meters, it is recommended to checking calculation a top plate, and suitably strengthened.
