The thermal economy analysis of power plant is a basic work for energy-saving. In the actual production, it provides the theoretical basis and guides how to reform and shows the running status of the plant. In this paper, taking an imported type 1000 MW unit as the object of study, on the thermodynamic system of the unit heat economy calculation and comprehensive analysis, and puts forward the optimization suggestions. It has very important practical value for the work of energy saving for power plant.This article, based on the first law of thermodynamics, establishes the model of large thermal power units thermal economic calculation, calculates the economic index under typical working conditions. Compared with other thermal efficiency calculation, parameter data method, this paper used the selected, more close to the actual production run, is convenient for field test and calculation for power plant staff, meet the needs of practical engineering. At the same time, this paper draws lessons from the domestic improvement experience the same type unit and popular a number of energy-saving reconstruction project, calculated energy saving transformation project from the thermodynamic system of thermal economy point of view, and puts forward corresponding suggestions to further improve the transformation of the thermodynamic system of the unit system, fully tap the potential of energy saving unit, enhance the competitiveness of enterprises and also for the same type unit thermal system optimization provides the basis method.
