With the continuous development of power industry technology, Gas Insulated Switchgear for its small volume, strong anti-interference ability, reliable operation and so on the superior properties, gradually become the development trend of the world's power equipment applications.This article describes the 220 k V Gas Insulated Switchgear equipment circuit breaker hydraulic energy storage device leakage nitrogen, isolating switch connecting rod weathering fracture, isolation switch operating mechanism box into the water and 500 k V Hybrid Gas Insulated Switchgear SF6 leakage of Gas chamber, the isolating switch open phase tripping and closing/opening faults and defects, and the consequences in the Xinyu substation.Then we used on-site inspection, the equipment return to factory maintenance, automatic signal check, equipment drawing methods such as comparative analysis and find the faults and defects caused by direct and indirect reasons, the method to solve the problem by unqualified parts replacement, parts returned to the factory coating, replace the sealing ring, established to feasible anti-accident measures by strengthen the daily patrol, on-site installation process, the AC power switch type selection, selection of auxiliary contacts of automation, ensure that no longer repeat the same kind of faults and defects.
