Study On Advanced Product Quality Planning In Devolopment Management Of Cabale Acceories Products

Cable accessories industry very like cable industry, it's required to be extremely high reliability of products. In order to ensure the high reliability, customer requirements need to be sufficiently collected at the very beginning of project initial phase, and converted into products functional requirements, further transformed into products design and process design. The cable accessories industry is oriented as projects, and customers raise up their requirements based on project, and company develops products accordingly, so a perfect and systematic new project development management process is very important.First, Advanced Product Quality Planning(APQP) with wide recognition in auto industry was applied in project development management of cable accessories industry in the paper, and it also studied details of application concept, application approach and implementation effectiveness.Second, APQP and its general application was introduced in the paper, and meanwhile the current new project development management process of T company was studied and combined with lesson learned database of history projects, and the question list was worked out. Based on those questions, this paper deeply went into integration approach and partial process improvement between APQP and current new project development management process.Third, the optimized new project development management process was applied in project A, and Key Performance Indicator(KPI) was used to measure the achievement of project A. During the project A implementation, FMEA, MSA, SPC and certain lean tools like VOC were practiced in different phase, as well as their organically combined usage to make the best practice effectiveness.At last, this paper reviewed the emerging problems in project A implementation and history projects lesson learned and come up with actions from 4 perspectives, those actions not only give the guide to project development management of cable accessories industry but also benefit routine operation of company.
