Long-span continuous rigid-frame bridge(LSCRF Bridge) has being widely developed in our road and rail traffic, given its own unique advantages, including great spanning capacity, evenness of bridge surface, easy maintenance, but small construction difficulty, as well as low cost in construction. For LSCRF Bridge, construction control, which includes linear and stress control, is critical for structural safety in the construction process, as well as the dovetail of finished state with the design. This review compared the main computational methods applied in structural analysis during construction control of large-span bridges(forward and reverse calculation method), and pointed out the most suitable one. Taking a bridge on Fubao highway as an example, we calculated its internal forces(bending moments, shear), stress and deflection in a state of maximum cantilever and finished state, through a finite element simulation model generated by MIDAS CIVIL;In addition, focusing on construction process of this bridge on Fubao highway, we introduced application of linear, stress control in detail, and analyzed monitoring data of construction control; we also tested structural weight, elastic modulus of concrete, shrinkage and creep of concrete, prestress and other design parameters, and performed sensitivity analysis for deviations of structural state, which may be affected by these parameters. The research results have been successfully applied to a support project- the construction control a bridge on Baofu highway.
