Qiongzhou Strait is one of the most serious areas affected by typhoon and monsoon in China.The intensity of tropical cyclones passing through the Strait is very high. With the increase of the Bridge over sea's length,the influence of wind on the bridge structure is also increasing.The role in Qiongzhou Strait is more obvious.According to Wenzhou Typhoon Network's data in 1949-2014,the data is from the tropical cyclone's seven level wind circle passing through the Qiongzhou Strait.The frequency, intensity and path of the data are analyzed. According to the Qiongzhou Strait's monsoon in 2013,to analyze the monsoon's characteristic of wind field in Qiongzhou Strait.The probabilistic model for the frequency and average wind speed of tropical cyclone are established. The probabilistic model for average wind speed and wind direction of monsoon are established.The recurrence time of them is calculated.The wind characteristics of the typhoon "Butterfly" and the monsoon.are compared and analysed.The main research contents are as follows:(1)To describe the wind-induced-vibration-effect of bridge, and to introduce the domestic research status and achievements of tropical cyclone,monsoon in china and extreme wind speed probability distribution model.(2)According to the data that is from the tropical cyclone's seven level wind circle passing through the Qiongzhou Strait in 1949-2014. The tropical cyclone's frequency and intensity are analyzed,and the origin and path of tropical cyclone are studied.(3)According to the data that is from the tropical cyclone's seven level wind circle passing through the Qiongzhou Strait in 1949-2014 and Chengmai meteorological. Using the data's frequency and extreme wind speed to establish Probability Model and to calculate the return period.(4)According to the Qiongzhou Strait's monsoon in 2013,the wind parameters of the monsoon are analyzed.The probability model of wind speed and wind direction is established,The diurnal pattern of the prevailing monsoon is studied.(5)According to the data of monsoon in 2013.8.28-29 and typhoon "Butterfly".The basic parameters of Typhoon "Butterfly" are analyzed.The basic wind parameters of monsoon and typhoon are compared.
