With the growing of China's economic strength, people's consumption concept also gradually improve, the urban complex building that gather many other functions is becoming more and more get the favour of people. The urban complex construction has large scale, almost contain all the functions, and let people experience never leave home can enjoy the entertainment leisure activities such as beer and skittles. But the complex building also has a special side, its internal personnel, highly fire risk, the complex space, difficult to rescue. The article combined with the characteristics of complex buildings, do some optimum research on its fire fighting system with water.At first,analyzes the typical fire cases, and research the fire water consumption of the complex building in the domestic. Collect nearly a decade fire situation, summed up the factors that affect water consumption in the building fire. Through to research the American Insurance Service Office(ISO) flow calculation method, compare with the domestic Technical code for fire protection water supply and hydrant systems(GB50974-2014) for the differences about calculate fire water consumption. For specific fire cases, analyze relations between the fire flow design value, the actual required for fire fighting flow and the calculated flow value by ISO. Finally conclude calculation method of the complex buildings' fire water consumption at a time.Then discuss the outdoor fire hydrant system of the complex building. The technical code stipulate that the protection radius of the fire reservoir's inlet shall not be more than 150 meters. Because of the complex building covers an area of wide range, so a fire reservoir's inlet can't protect all the area. For this kind of situation, set up multiple fire reservoirs and a fire reservoir to solve the problem, and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of various methods and the applicable conditions.The article finally research the indoor fire control system of the complex building. Indoor fire control system including indoor fire hydrant system and automatic sprinkler system two parts. Improve the reliability of indoor fire hydrant system from the protection radius of the fire hydrant and water supply scheme of the fire hydrant system. By analyzing the angle ? of nozzle on the effect of the full water spout in a horizontal projection length on the surface, sum up a new formula for computing the protection radius of fire hydrant. According to different building height, analyzes the fire hydrant system with suitable method on vertical partition.By studying the success cases of sprinkler system in the domestic, summarize the time required for put out the early fire. Combining with relevant foreign standards and code, on the basis of 1 hour's fire water consumption, reduce the continuous discharge time of sprinkler system, put forward the optimum way of water supply with safety, economy and other aspects at the same time.
