Currently, maintenance modeling has a considerable development. However, the existing maintenance process models are difficult to describe the complex system and they are insufficient to combine maintenance resource, troubleshooting knowledge, loop operation,external control condition and underlying actions of the process. In order to solve the above problems and meet the demand of aviation maintenance training, the line maintenance troubleshooting process model based on SWOSP net is built. The model is verified and simulated by virtual maintenance platform successfully. The main work done includes:Firstly, the speculative knowledge of maintenance and maintenance task of civil aircraft are researched and the simulation elements and general flow path of troubleshooting process are proposed. The common process modeling methods are compared and utilized to establish maintenance model.Secondly, the hierarchical modeling is built for complex civil aircraft troubleshooting process. Semantic web and ontology theory are introduced to express the knowledge of troubleshooting process, the hierarchical decomposition, clustering of components and achieve the logical interconnection among the various sub-components. The extended Petri net is used to establish the maintenance process model. The valid combination among ontology mapping, aircraft structural relationship and extensible Petri net constitute the SWOSP net.Finally, the construction methods of virtual maintenance platform are introduced briefly,and the SWOSP net model is verified by the case of virtual line troubleshooting process of fuel system in the virtual maintenance platform.
