WPC is made of wood or cellulose-based materials and thermoplastics,after compounding molding composite material, both part of the performance plastics and wood. Its green, corrosion, moisture, plasticity strong, beautiful materials and excellent performance has been widely recognized. Foreign WPC began to study and gradually achieve the production and sales from the early 1990 s. Research and development of wood-plastic composite materials began in the late 1990 s, after several years of efforts, its excellent environmental benefits, the unique performance advantages and aesthetic values continue to be the government and the municipal garden departments attention and recognition. However, in this study, many garden project tracking survey found that wood-plastic composite materials in the landscape project still exist the following two aspects:(1) the material terms of production processes, when the WPC production, first by the raw materials required to WPC profile, according to the specific requirements of the project for a certain profile cutting process, which after cutting the wood waste resulting profiles composite lot of waste and loss. The production profile and the assembly process is relatively complicated, making its production mainly to manual operation, greatly increasing the cost of labor, which has also led to human factors materials there are some errors in the production of production, which leads to the production efficiency.(2) Aspects of installation construction, wood garden products in site construction process, due to the size of the error and the construction site environmental constraints when manufacturing production materials, dimensions WPC profile needs to be appropriate to change the cut, increasing material loss the amount, if a large number of errors profile, it will affect the completion of the project schedule, the construction team and users are at risk of consuming huge human and material resources.In this study, literature research, field research, analysis of induction, interview advice as the main research methods, many garden project in Guangdong Province to conduct research summary deeply related businesses factory for wood garden products marketapplications, combined with the practice of case design analytical thinking research questions, its conclusions are as follows:(1) In this study, a network survey results to WPC applications in the market as well as urban residents awareness of the WPC theme for the survey show: 71.28% of the public to have some understanding of WPC; 60.29% of people have used wood garden products;50.98% of the public believe in the landscape project, WPC can completely replace wood material; 45.19% of people pay more attention to the practical function of WPC, and25.17% of people pay attention to watch the performance of WPC; 65.68% of the population of the WPC in landscape engineering application prospects optimistic attitude.The survey results indicate that the market value of wood-plastic composite materials has been widely recognized for its applied research in the landscape project also has some social significance.(2) The research from production efficiency as well as users perceive two aspects,proposed wood garden products manufacturing specifications and standardized user DIY installation independent design theory. And the theoretical analysis and experimental results were certified. According to the practice of data analysis obtained: wood garden products DIY design theory independent installer application for production quantities of the same project can save 40-50% of the manpower required for the construction; WPC profile the amount of loss can be reduced by 2% to 5 %; required engineering production costs can be reduced 3-5%; the desired profile production engineering manpower can save 50%.Expected result set, which can effectively reduce production costs, improve production efficiency, simplifying the construction process, improve the user customize the operational feasibility.(3) The present study was carried out renovation design Luogang Hornsey Park Service grooming area. Program design, combined with previous field research wood garden products resulting structure common type of connection results, using a column,frame type structure, while taking metal connection, tenon connections, adhesive connections, tongue and groove connection card more kinds of connections for structural construction. And through the bush steel, steel outer cover pillar consisting of WPC profile manner in the form of hollow wood pillar structure in order to enhance the load bearing function column structure. The design focused load bearing structure and function of WPC,WPC will be a transition from the general facing material having a load-bearing function for the building materials used in the landscape project.
