Oil-film bearing is widely used in critical equipment for load-bearing. The interfacial bonding performance of Babbitt and steel of bearing bush is critical to the operation of equipment. Under temperature and mechanical load, there is strong singular stress field on the interface of bush with composite material, and the influence of the stress field cannot be overlooked. Therefore, it is of theoretical significance and practical significance to analyze the interfacial bonding problems from the perspective of interface mechanics.In this thesis, on the basis of elastic mechanics and interface mechanics, the singular stress field of interface was established with the bush structure characteristics and the practical operating conditions was taken into consideration. Based on the singular stress field, the interfacial bonding performance was analyzed. And this will make contribution to the scientific research on the bonding performance of oil-film bearing bush and the improvement of manufacturing techniques.Firstly, the singular stress field of interface end was established. The two kinds of bush composite materials, the one kind with Tin as interlayer and the other kind with Babbitt bonding to steel directly was compared with each other. The stress distribution of Babbitt near the end of the interface and on the interface was calculated. Based on the singular stress field, the influence of Babbitt thickness on stress distribution was analyzed, as well as the influence of base materials properties. The stress singularity parameters of different bonding angle were calculated, which will make contribution to the improvement of interface stress singularity.Secondly, considering the interface structure on the base material, mechanical model was established and the interface corner stress singularity was analyzed. The two kinds of bush composite materials, the one kind with Tin as interlayer and the other kind with Babbitt bonding to steel directly were compared, and the influence of Babbitt thickness on stress distribution was calculated. Combining the stress filed of end of the interface and interface corner, the two problems mentioned above were analyzed. The effect of size parameters of spherical surface and spiral groove on interface corner singular stress field were studied, which will make contribution to the improvement of interface structure on base material.Finally, the tensile strength test of plain bearing bush with Babbitt and steel bonding together was carried out. Based on the mechanical model of test specimen, the singular stress field of the end of the interface was calculated, and the influence of temperature load on stress singularity was analyzed. On the basis of test data, the intermediate crack and debonding analysis was carried out with the application of cohesive unit to establish the connection between stress singular field and interface bonding performance.
