Increasing pressure has induced more and more people to enter the status of subhealth and disease under the condition of medical resources shortage and maldistribution. Pulse diagnosis of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) has a long history and is unique in the world. Nowadays, smart wearable products have become an important part of people's life. The combination and application of contemporary technologies and pulse diagnosis principle of TCM are of great benefits to people's health.The author finds the category, quantity and sales share of smart wearable products applied in medical field take the lead. Therefore, the market prospect of smart wearable products in medical field is promising. The further research and analysis of representative products of various categories show that smart wearable medical products have huge potential despite its limitations of duration performance and sensing capacity, because of active market promotion, continual cash infusion and breakthrough work.After consultation of literature of science and technology, and collection and analysis of materials online, the author comes to the conclusion that the combination of contemporary technologies and pulse diagnosis principle of TCM is technically feasible.The author puts forward the design principles and design method based on the research and analysis of smart wearable medical products available, and establishes the design idea of the package of product aiming at the specificity of pulse diagnosis principle of TCM.The APP is designed and developed according to the propriety of major operating systems after gathering requirements of users and determining function architecture of the pulse diagnosis instrument.Smart wearable pulse diagnosis instrument is the data acquisition terminal of the whole medical process, and it is worn for a long time and takes pulse by sensor. The data acquired based on pulse diagnosis principle is uploaded to cloud database, and data processing and image analysis draw a conclusion of pulse diagnosis. The result of pulse diagnosis is presented by corresponding APP, which preliminarily reflects the health status of the user. The APP also gives some suggestions for the user to recuperate. The pulse diagnosis provides data supporting and reference for medical personnel, and massive data also benefits the research and development of other medical products.
