| Energy conservation has received national attention in the international situation of energy shortages. In recent years, the airport is becoming one of the major transportation and energy conservation becomes a hot spot based on a variety of energy management and energy saving programs. Taking into account the energy consumption characteristics of the airport, energy efficiency assessment for airports plays an important role in promoting energy conservation for the civil aviation industry. But a sound energy efficiency evaluation system has not been established yet. How to assess the airport energy efficiency accurately has become an urgent issue. The energy efficiency of transport airport is the main object of this article and the energy efficiency assessment methodology has been researched and discussed. We can try to find more methods and technical support to promote energy conservation more effectively according to the energy efficiency assessment.First, the characteristics and use of the energy consumption data from the major airports have been fully understood in the aspect of practice. Second, from a theoretical basis, a variety of efficiency assessment method and the development of the historical background have been summarized in the past few years. Third, the research focuses on the deep meaning of energy efficiency and the situation of China’s energy use for transport airports has been analyzed. The energy efficiency for airports is defined and the energy efficiency assessment index system has been established based on a set of energy- economic- environmental(3E) and analytic hierarchy process(AHP). The energy efficiency evaluation model based on analytic hierarchy process has been established. The energy efficiency of Tianjin airport has been assessed according to the 2005-2010 energy consumption data of the airport. Grey relational analysis has been used to improve the assessment method. Through the analysis of the results of the assessment of several major airports in this way, the most effective energy-saving program can be selected targeted to the airport’s own specific circumstances. |
