Aviation safety is the eternal subject of civil aviation transport sector. It is particularly important that engines operating status are monitored and engines' health conditions are assessed because flight accidents by which engines are not working properly are often caused.Timely and accurate information source is the premise to guarantee the reliability of engines health assessment. Meanwhile, ACARS system which have been become the standard configuration of civil aircraft are provided by only several foreign company, it will directly restrict airborne communication equipment localization process in the course of developing large airplane. In order to solve the real-time ACARS message information which engine condition monitoring and engine health management system are needed, we need to do further research on the aircraft air-ground data transmission system, it also has certain significance for promoting ACARS communication system software and equipment localization process.In this paper, VHF air-ground data link system which are current widely utilized both in domestic and abroad are viewed as the point of penetration, proposed reasonable ACARS message parsing program and track algorithms after researching on air-ground communication protocols and specifications, and do the further research on the core issues of ACARS message parsing etc. Finally, the theoretical results are successfully integrated into the development of air-ground data transmission processing platform application. The main researches are listed as follows:1. The paper constructed the ACARS air-ground data process system for aircraft maintenance on the basis of researching communication protocols and data link. According to the requirements of developing the system application, ACARS message, which is the medium of air-ground communication, are in-depth researched on its coding principle and structure. ACARS message are processed by utilizing the method of fixed position extraction,template parsing and feature extraction combined, which provides theoretical support for the intelligent management of ACARS message information. In the flight track playback, the Mercator projection method and velocity integral method are separately used to simulated flight track, and the result shows that the Mercator projection method is better in a planartrack.2. On the basis of the above theoretical research, the technology of ASP.NET is mainly used to develop the air-ground data transmission processing platform application. The function modules of ACARS message processing and management in the application are improved and optimized, and basically achieve the requirements to provide real-time and historical data for civil engine health management system.
