Under the background of the state advocating environment protecting, the development of the modern urban subway construction has been promoted, rail transit vehicles play a more important role for its, which puts forward higher requirements to the performance of the control of the rail transit vehicles. On the basis of widely understanding all kinds of power systems which belong to domestic and overseas, this paper focuses on power supply systems of the rail transit vehicles designed in the program, including PWM convertor and DC-DC convertor for charging battery.This main work which completed for the study of the power system of the rail transit vehicles divides into four parts as follows:Firstly, the development of the control system of rail transit vehicles is presented and the research status of the vehicle and battery charging system in the domestic and foreign is also introduced. In addition, the paper pays attention to the working principle and system configuration of the rail transit vehicles and the mathematical model and the principle of the PWM convertor and the DC- DC converter are also established.Secondly, the key technologies of the power systems in the rail transit vehicle are deeply discussed, such as: the control strategy of the PWM convertor, the conventional phase-locked loop, decoupled double synchronous reference frame phase-locked loop, virtual flux orientation control, the control strategy of the DC-DC convertor and the model of the battery and so on. At the same time, the simulative results are conducted.Then, introduce the design of hardware circuit device and give a detailed description of the power circuit and control circuit. Besides, introduce two control chip of TMS320F28335 and dsPIC5015 used in this system. Analyze the digital technology in software design and give the flow chart of the program.Lastly, based on the rail transit vehicle, experiments of the PWM convertor, the DC-DC converter and brake circuit are carried out. The analysis of simulation results and the experiment results prove the scientificity and feasibility of the whole power system.
