The Application Of French Classical Garden Elements And Technique In The Residential Area Landscape

This topic research purpose is to through the deep understanding of the French classical garden, and select the residential area landscape cases, analyze and summarize it, to explore the application of French classical garden elements and technique in the residential area landscape. Research significance is to summarize the application types of the current French classical garden’s elements and technique, to provide certain guiding significance to the practice of the French garden residential area.Research content is to sketch the landscape elements, components and landscape technique in French classical garden style. In many cases of the residential area, according to the content of application, to choose and analyze three cases, and the landscape effect is summarized respectively. Based on the above analysis, the article also summarizes the current residential area in our country which reference on the French classical garden and the factors should be considered to build the French garden.On the above research contents, this topic using literature review and synthesis, field research, contrast, induction analysis of four kinds of research methods. The main results were as follows:(1) About the applications of the French classical garden landscape characteristic elements in residential area, in the application of Apollo sculpture, for example, to choose Nanning Jia He Cheng and Guangzhou Zhu Jiang Di Jing Yuan as the cases to analyze. In the application of Apollo sculpture, summed up there are three aspects of factors which are the residential area positioning, the architectural features and the site environment. If Apollo sculpture is matched of these factors, then it could be able to well present its characteristics of the sculpture.(2) About the applications of the French classical garden landscape elements and technique in residential public area, to choose Guangzhou Yu Jing Ban Dao and Dongguan Kai Xuan Cheng as the cases to analyze. The cases are just to apply the French classical garden some components and landscape technique, it is not comprehensive and just only show some of the French classical garden characteristics. Therefore, the application should not only consider the regional site factors and construction factors, but also need to focus on the relationships of landscape layout, garden construction, plant configuration, so that to reveal much more characteristics of the French classical garden.(3) About the applications of the French classical garden landscape elements and technique in residential whole area, to choose Suzhou Yu Yuan and Beijing Cheng Yuan as the representative cases to analyze. In order to show more characteristics of the French classical garden, the residential area should be fully considered the project site factors, construction factors and the landscape factors. In terms of the site factors, the site rules and flat shape of the residential area is more advantageous to apply to the French classical garden. In terms of the construction factors, the axis of building layout and the architectural appearance of the neoclassical style in favor of the application of the French classical garden. In terms of the landscape factors, components and landscape technique should be used in the whole residential area, and according the function of the residential area to decorate and transform them.(4) To build the French garden residential area, it should be considered the factor of city’s geographical location, the regional factors, the landscape and site factors, the architectural layout and the architectural style factors.The paper also discusses the reason of the regional distribution at the application of French classical garden in residential area in, including the differences of the economic development, the cultural, the developers and the construction layout.
