The researches were conducted to reduce the design cycles of aeroengines about parametric design and optimization of aeroengine rotor system in this paper, for to satisfy needs repeated iteration and repairing. The researched contents were taken important part in the field for engineering application. The results were gained as following:(1) An integrated suite of software was developed for to realize parametric design of rotor system. The suite increased efficiency and avoided human errors for to model.(2) Automatica assembling was achieved to consider the assembly relationships in the suite. The assembled structures can be manually or automatically modified, the flexibility and interaction were greatly improved about in the design process.(3) It was werified that the weights were estimated about typical turboshaft and turbofan according to the parametric model. The max error of the estimations was about 6.5% which validated accuracy and reliability of the software and the suite of software processed pratical references for structer design.(4) The ANSYS was developed with APDL language, the parametric model was realized and project design was analyzed. The design efficiency was greatly improved.(5) The parametric model was optimized with genetic algorithm coded in MATLAB. Optimizations of both the static and dynamic characteristics were achieved, which verified the software pocessed intellignet, reliable and convenient characteristics for parametric design and data mangement.The suite of software was developed, which realized paramettic and optimal design of the aero-engine rotor systems in the paper. The weight and model was obtained rapidly with this software for the designer. The software was integrated combing strength analysis and optimal design together, and greatly improved design efficiency. The software was quite intelligent and useful in aeroengine design. The results processed important and practical significance in engineering.
