Research On Flight Control And Visual Simulation For Ski-Jump Take-Off Of Carrier-Based Aircraft

Ski-jump take-off of carrier-based aircraft has many outstanding advantages. In this paper, the process of ski-jump take-off is researched. And this paper mainly analyzes safety factors of launch,designs and proves control system of aircraft ski-jump take-off, then designs and realizes visual simulation system.Firstly, the carrier-based aircraft ski-jump take-off process is analyzed and established, including landing gear model and ramp deck model. And the mathematical model of carrier-based aircraft ski-jump takeoff process is established via researching horizontal acceleration running part and ramp acceleration running part.Secondly, the research on safety factors in the ski-jump takeoff process is developed and focused on deck motion, ship airwake and deck wind. And it is also done to analyse the influence of ramp deck exit angle on launching process. Then, the decision interface of carrier-based aircraft ski-jump takeoff is designed.Thirdly, it is necessary to research and design carrier-based aircraft take-off control system with applying classic PID control method to design aircraft flight control law via longitudinal and lateral aspects. And the control system is applied and proved in the model of ski-jump take-off process for carrier-based aircraft to climb at a constant vertical velocity after leaving the ship. In addition, the control system based on model reference adptive method is designed, and compared to the control system based on PID has faster response speed, better stability and stronger adaptability.Finally, it is accomplished to design Matlab/Flightgear joint visual simulation workflow, build aircraft carrier model with ramp deck, set up 3D scene models and design communication interface between Flightgear and Matlab in the research process of visual simulation system. And it is achieved to animation demonstrate the process of carrier-based aircraft ski-jump take-off via Flightgear software.
