Now central heating has been accepted to us all and has been widely used in many cities.In the past few years,fee scale in traditional heating was based on square footage.This method is unreasonable because it cannot real reflect the heating usage of residents.With the continuous development and construction of our society,many European countries starts to develop Heat measurement and achieves very significant results in different aspects.From 1990,our nation starts to do some research in this field also.Then if it is reasonable or accurate has related to our own rights.So,the accuracy of heat meters has become a very popular problem.As a result,horizontal calibration facility of heat meters was established after that.To small caliber(DN15-DN50),we have mature verification technology to it.To large caliber(DN80-DN200),a lot of research institutes are preparing actively.In 2010,Shanxi Institute of Metrology has achieved this goal firstly and breakthrough this difficulty.To vertical heat meters which is widely used also,we haven't had a vertical calibration facility in our country till now.So it block the usage of vertical heat meters.This paper makes a detailed introduction from heat meters and calibration facility of heat meters.And this paper puts forward the vertical calibration facility of heat meters for the first time in our country,firstly introduces this facility's basic structure and working principle,then the uncertainty for each part of the facility is assessed according to the testing about vertical heat maters.Then finds out the expansion uncertainty.To reduce the uncertainty of the temperature measurement,FIR filter,averaging filter and Kalman filter are used respectively to suppress the noise.By comparing the processing results by these three filters,the combination of averaging filter and Kalman filter is used which can reduce the uncertainty to 0.052%.The reduction of uncertainty can improve the reliability of this calibration facility eventually.Finally finds out some problems of verification of heat meters in China and make a prospect of its development in the future.
