Implementation of the power fiber to the home project, you can avoid duplication of resources to waste, reduce the cost of owners, property and construction side of the communication. The basis of this study at home and abroad, using the method of literature research and case analysis, starting from the basic concept and theory of project management, in order to X FTTH project as an example, analyzed the key-Ethernet passive optical network and optical fiber composite low voltage cable technology of FTTH. the operation situation of China FTTH are analyzed, analyzed the household items operation condition and cost effectiveness of X power fiber to the whole life cycle, based on the theory, put forward the countermeasure of X power FTTH project to strengthen project management.This article through to study project management of X electric power optical fiber, the main conclusions are as follows:(1) the power fiber to the key technology of household items for technology and optical fiber composite low voltage cable technology of Ethernet passive optical network. (2) X FTTH project benefit evaluation results show that, regardless of the specific index score, or project score, total score of X or benefit, FTTH project scores are higher than that of pure electric power network A project and B project pure fiber network, good economic benefits, especially in the project of strategic benefit the advantages are obvious, should be vigorously promoted. (3) X FTTH project schedule management task decomposition is not enough, lack of project work plan, the relevant party coordination mechanism is not perfect, the internal control process of the lack of professional quality and effectiveness of management personnel and other issues need to be improved. In order to guarantee the X of FTTH project smoothly, we need to strengthen the demonstration and classification tasks, improve the work plan, the parties improve coordination mechanism, strengthening the internal control process, strengthen team construction, and protection from contract management, member motivation and organization construction.
