| Not only is city road greening an important part of city landscape greening,but also is the lifeblood of a city.The level of road greening is directly related to the image of a city.There are four parts in this paper.In the first parts,the basic principles of configuration for landscape plants and roadside trees,proceedings on landscape plants and its configuration in China and abroad,the evaluation methods of roadside trees and landscape plant are reviewed,and the aim and importance of this research are finally stated.In the second part,it is given the situation of nature condition in Dongguan City,such as the local geographical position,landforms,climate characteristics,six large districts zoned from Donguang City,soil profiles,main roads and road landscape in each district.In the third part,the seven roads selected from six district such as Dongguan Avenue,Dongjiang Avenue,Songshan Lake Avenue,Ring Road,Riverside Boulevard,Chashan Avenue and Humen Avenue are investigated for their road side trees applying..In the fourth part,12 roads are investigated for the applying condition with herb plants in road greening,and for characteristics of plant disposition of main roads in Dongguan City respectively.In the fifth part,through the investigation and study,combined with the actual situation of Dongguan City,put forward development proposals. |
