Lightweight body has become the main topic of automotive research, both to ensure the safety performance of the body, but also to ensure the body stre ngth, the body quality reaches the m inimum, its purpose is to im prove the power of th e car, reducing fuel consumption, thereby reducing the pollution of th e environment. According to authoritative proof, if the car weight is reduced by about 9%, fuel efficiency can be increased by about 7%; therefore, lightweight body has becom e an important research field of a utomobile industry development, and will be irreplaceable in quite a long time.At this stage, the use of lightweight aluminum alloy material and the optimization of the design of the body section is two m ain methods to quantify the weight of the body. At present, a large number of the Aluminum Alloy material has entered into body design field, it is characterized by light weight, and recyclable and environmental protection, it also has the role of energy absorption, maximum protection occupant safety. In addition to the structural optimization of the body section is also an essential aspect of the study.At present, som e domestic and foreign au tomobile manufacturers have invested in research and development of all alum inum body. In addition to the successful case of the famous Audi A8 aluminum body, some well-known domestic enterprises such as Yutong Bus, Jinlong also developed the whole alum inum bus body. In commercial trucks, Alum inum Alloy mainly used in container products, the real application in the cab is still blank.The cab has been developed based on the research and developm ent of fire engines, the following four technical links of the Alum inum Alloy cab based in China to develop a truly applicable commercial vehicle cab aluminum body products.The first part is to determine the choice of all-aluminum fire truck cab material program: This paper is a study of alum inum mechanical properties. Typical profiles of the relevant parameters are calculated through the establishment of the calculation program. Taking F40 × 40 × 3.5 profile as an exam ple, the bending process was sim ulated in ABAQUS finite element software. For the application of the al uminum profile in the s afety of the vehicle body, the static collapse test of the profile was carried out, and the force- displacement curve was obtained.The second part is the cab perform ance analysis and evaluation: the analysis of section joints, strength, stiffness, mode, passive safety performance, fatigue and other analysis.The third p art is the o ptimization design of the cab s tructure of the a luminum alloy structure of the fire-fighting vehicle: com bining with the topological shape of the or dinary steel frame structure, adopting the structure optim ization technology to con struct the aluminum frame white body, and then respectively, to optim ize the shape and size optimization.The fourth part is the aluminum fire trial and bench test: trial completed aluminum fire truck cab frame test, comparing the alum inum frame and steel fram e CAE analysis results. To evaluate the Performance of Aluminum Fire Truck cab finally.
