The industry of micro-small satellite began to rise since twenty-first century,satellite constellation which is composed of dozens or even thousands of micro-small satellites has been widely constructed,and micro-small satellite step into the rapid development stage.New requirements are put forward for the production of satellites due to what mentioned above.Traditional development mode of single satellite cannot adapt to the present situation of satellite development,and micro-small satellite is faced with the challenge of mass-produce.As the skeleton of a satellite,structure system plays an important role in the process of satellite design,the completion of satellite mission are related to the reasonable design of satellite structure.And the innovation and upgrading of satellite structure could promote the development of the whole satellite industry process.So the technology of satellite structure design occupies an important position in the development of the satellite industry with the role of mainstay.This paper puts forward three design requirements for the mass-produce of satellite structure by analyzing the present situation of the rapid satellite development,which contain the adaptability of multi-load launch,flexible design and modular design.A satellite networking project is proposed by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co.,Ltd,and this paper carries out the structural design to the smart video satellite which is an important member of this constellation.A frame plate structure composed of metal beam and sandwich plate structure is proposed,then the finite element analysis and optimization and mechanical properties of the structure are carried out.First of all,the design of frame plate structure is carried out,including the design of satellite configuration,frame structure,plate structure,load layout design,material selection and other aspects of the design.This configuration could realize two kinds of state contains vertical installation of launch and suspension installation,which could realize the adaptability of multi-load launch.In the other side,metal beam and plate element could realize flexible design,and the modular design could be achieved by load mounted on different plate units.The structure designed could meet the three requirements described above.Then,finite element analysis and dynamic optimization are carried out on the structure.Finite element analysis contains static analysis and dynamic analysis,and dynamic optimization means the optimization of measurements.To find and modify the structure scheme unreasonable through the analysis results,and the problem of the random vibration response where located on the camera mounting plate is solved.The mathematical model of structure optimization is established as follows,the design variables are structural parameters required to determine,the optimization objective is to minimize the overall quality of the satellite,the constraint conditions are the lowest natural frequencies of the structure and the upper and lower bounds of the design variables.Optimization solution is solved by using Opti Struct software,and the various structural parameters are determined.Finally,machining and assemble of the optimized structure are done,and the mechanical properties are verified by mechanical environment test which shows that the structure has good mechanical properties and could meet the design requirements well.Then the accuracy and effectiveness of the finite element analysis is also verified because the error of the analysis and test data is acceptable by contrasting the two results.
