Transformer substation,as an important part of the power grid,has direct impact on the safe and reliable operation of the power system.With the extension of the power system,customer has a higher requirement on the quality of power.Designing a more reasonable substation,seeking better design concepts and methods,meeting the growing social demand become the significant subject to the construction of the future power system's solution and research.Based on the operation mode and characteristics of Yuezhou power grid,this paper is designing for the 220 kV transformer substation primary system of Rongcheng East.The voltage class of the substation were 220/110/10 kV.The transformer substation primary system design scheme research on the necessity of construction,the connection of system,the overall structure,the main transformer selection,reactive compensation,main electric connection,short-circuit current calculation,the power distribution and major equipment.In this paper,the load of power grid has analyzed in the first place,to prove the necessity of construction.Then concerned about the hydrology,meteorology,geology to location this substation.And determined the system connection scheme as well as demonstrated of the overall structure.Secondly,completed the demonstration of the main transformer selection,neutral point grounding,reactive power compensation.Furthermore,selected a reasonable optimization of the wiring by the comparison of a variety of main wiring scheme.Moreover,through the short-circuit calculation,equipment selection,lightening protection,and the station grounding design,completing the electrical primary design.In addition,using the software of PSASP to verify the design,The verification results show that the design of Rongcheng East substation's Electrical system can meets the requirements.In the end,the design of the primary system of 220 kV substation is summarized,and the shortage of the paper and the application of the new technology are put forward,and prospecting the development of the transformer substation and bright future.
