Slope failure is a geological disaster caused by comprehensive factors,because of the interaction of different factors such as geological structure,composition and geographical environment,the failure mode of the slope is varied.Tongzilin hydropower station is located in the Yalong river in Yanbian County of city Panzhihua of Sichuan province,it is a comprehensive water conservancy used mainly for power generation,and downstream integrated water requirements,and it is a symbolic project of the Western Development Strategy.This paper takes the right bank slope of Tongzilin hydropower station in Yalong River as the research object,after surveyed the field geological conditions,a preliminary analysis of slope crack mechanism is studied,then the right bank slope were analyzed by two-dimensional stability of the system,including the following:1.after the on-site investigation,the present situation of the right bank slope was analysed,then zoning the right bank slope according to slope stability,the preliminary analysis between crack and excavation and reinforcement was made,and this paper also based on monitoring information to make a preliminary study on the mechanism of slope deformation.2.The deformation of Tongzilin right slope is mainly affected by excavation,rainfall and groundwater,in order to ensure the stability and safety of slope excavation in the construction period and operation period,using 2D limit equilibrium method to make stability analysis on the right slope,at the same time to conduct a review of the supporting scheme reinforcement effect.3.Open channel 0+220 to channel 0+460,the underground water level of the downstream section is higher,the stability of the slope under rainfall condition was analysed,and explored the effect of drainage measures.Then taking the typical slope section channel 0+343.6 for seepage analysis,and on this basis,calculating the stability coefficient by M-P method.4.The FLAC method is a method of differential display is proposed by Cundall P.A.,the FLAC method do not require to meet the constitutive relationship by iterating in the calculation,only need stress to change with strain according to the relationship between stress and strain,so it is suitable for processing problem of complex rock excavation unloading effect.Therefore,simulating the deformation and failure of right bank slope of Tongzilin hydropower station by FLAC3 D can make more in-depth study on failure process and mechanism.
