Since the new century in the historical background of China 's accelerated urbanization,the partial frame-supported shear wall structure has been adopted widely.In the partial frame-supported shear wall structure,the corewall is always set in the geometrical center,but in the view of architecture it will get a better result that the corewall has been offset,such as better lighting of staircase and efficient utilization of commercial area.The offset of corewalls could directly cause unbalance of the anti-lateral force member 's stiffness distribution,and may produce a large torsion in the earthquake and other related issues,So it is necessary for specific analysis of structure as this.At present there are three kinds of methods for seismic design and analysis in China:bottom shear way?mode analysis method and time-history analysis method.In addition to this,some special structures are required to be calculated for deformation by pushover analysis.As the most widely ultilized Seismic evaluation theory at present,pushover analysis is mainly divided into the capacity spectrum method and the target displacement method.Because of the discontinuousness of anti-lateral force member,the partial Frame-supported Shear Wall structure is belonged to complicated structure.The offset of corewalls make it more worse,so it has important significance for engineering practice and technical research to calculate the deformation of transfer story under disastrous earthquake and evaluate the rationality of structural layout under this condition.This paper give a description of pushover analysis to a Partial Frame-supported Shear Wall structure with corewalls offset in Hunan province,summarize the deformation in the earthquake and seismic behavior,study potential adverse effects to the structure and how to deal with it,decrease the impact by structural layout,and Finally find the balance between the architecture and seismic behavior.
