In recent years, China's infrastructure in the northwest region has invested a lot of manpower and material resources? But in some western Loess urban areas. Because of its development process, urban land is a serious problem had to face. This time, one of the new city engineering of Yan'an City high embankment filling height and fill in the country is a large range of projects and their own settlement high embankment stability and settlement solution filling body is to ensure that the entire high fill the key project successfully carried out. Study on stability of embankment after construction is necessary for monitoring and prediction of the settlement of high embankment.First, this paper summarizes the scope and precision of various model of domestic and foreign high embankment and foundation settlement forecasting model. Select from more suitable for settlement of high fill Yan'an from the three kinds of prediction model:BP neural network prediction, gray models, growth curve model forecasting model.For settlement monitoring data Yan'an a new city north of High Fill engineering analysis, high fill settlement of different area has different regions performance. For the settlement of the high embankment showing the original settlement in the upper valley slope reaches the maximum, and minimum to the bottom of the valley. Simultaneously uneven surface subsidence of fill area, these problems are due to the thickness variation of the lower part of high embankment in loess formations caused by differential settlement.Finally, the finite element analysis software to analyze the settlement law of field settlement monitoring points in High Embankment and after filling. Trends by comparing the measured data, predictive models and simulation data to obtain the model agree well with the measured data, which has a certain reference value for the later stages of high fill engineering.
