Fiber (optic fiber) is a cylindrical dielectric waveguide material. Optical wave propagation along the optical fiber is based on the total reflection theory of light. Optical fiber sensor is to take the optical fiber communications as the measurement of the carrier to detect the target. Optical fiber sensing technology has the characteristics of high accuracy, high sensitivity, high accuracy, and fast reaction speed. Optical fiber sensing technology is a new technology which combines the optical fiber technology and detection technology.In this thesis, we study the problem of temperature detection in different electrical equipment. By comparing the traditional method, we design the optical fiber temperature measurement system. The main research contents are as follows.(1) Compare and research traditional temperature measurement technologies on various electrical equipment.(2) Utilize optic fiber sensor to simulate the experimental operation and test the accuracy of the corresponding parameters in the laboratory environment.(3) Design the overall construct of the optical fiber temperature measurement system, analyze the accuracy of optical fiber in different electrical equipment, and integrate parameters acquisition modules on the corresponding electrical equipment, including data acquisition module, analysis module and exception handling module, etc.(4) Undergo the laboratory testing of fiber optic temperature measurement system for improving the stability and accuracy of the measurement results for different parameters, and achieve the replacement and choose of chips and materials in the optical fiber temperature measurement system, including optical fiber material, fiber optic sensor selection, parameter processing software adjustment, etc..(5) Propose the improved wavelet analysis de-noising technology, which is used to filter the noise of temperature measurement data.(6) Carry out the field test of the whole system, the installation of electrical equipment, and the parameter measurement. Finally, by using measuring results, the designed system will be further improved.
