Electric energy has become one of the main methods for the energy supply in today’s society due to the advantages of easy transmission,high efficiency,and environmentally friendly.Electrification has become not only an important symbol to measure the modernization of the country,but also an important factor in determining the speed of development.However,in the wide application of electrification,many forms of production safety accidents have been brought forward.The statistics show that the occupation of electrical fire stays at a high rate for an extended period in our country,especially low voltage line electrical fire.Due to the increasing decoration engineering and the growing demand for architectural decoration style,lamps,electrical connection device,and wire tend to embedded into decorative material deeply in order to pursue the external appearance.As a result,the cooling capacity is weakened and the hidden dangers are difficult to find and diagnose.In the long lifetime,the fire hazards are formed because of the aging of insulation material,inappropriate utilization,short,overload,poor contact,leakage and other accidents to form a fire hazard,and even lead to fire.Therefore,it is essential to study the risk of electrical fire in decorative space.In order to improve the safety of decorative space,this work studies the risk of electrical fire under the special characteristics of decorative space provided by the practical application by both simulation and experiments.First,this work completed the lamp heating test with four typical LED lamps and fluorescent lamps.Then,according to the common electrical anomaly and the failure models,the wire heating test is finished under different overload pressure to observe the damage behavior.Meanwhile,the three-dimensional simulation models of selected light tanks are established by ANSYS,the simulation results of temperature distribution in different working conditions were obtained.By comparative analyzing the result of simulation and testing under the normal,abnormal and fault state,the conclusions are as follows:(1)The simulation results show that the existing national standard has a large redundancy of safety.In the application of engineering practice,when the lamp power is less than 25 W,the distance of more than 45 mm can ensure the safe operation of the lighting.(2)The results show that the risk source under the overload condition of the 1-3times is the heat effect of wires which has strong ignition effect by the experimental observation.And under more than 3 times overload condition,the risk source is the short-term arc welding effect caused by the local fuse which has weak igniting effect by the experimental observation.(3)The simulations and experiments have consistency.In the future work,by studying the comprehensive heat transfer process deeply,more accurate parameters,simulations and design models can be proposed.The risk analysis of fire safety of decorative space can be conclusive at last.
