With the increasing consumption of oil in the world,the water-based lubricants are developing rapidly as an environment-friendly lubricant,which have a wide application in many fields,such as micromachine,biological lubrication,metal processing,and so on.In this paper,the lubrication equation is derived by considering the change of viscosity along the film thickness direction in thin film lubrication at first.Secondly,the performances of slide block are analysed under aqueous solution,which include the relationship between the pressure distribution and the load capacity of the infinite and finite length inclined slide block with the adsorbed layer thickness,the surface viscosity and inlet film thickness.We can find that the pressure and load capacity of the lubricating film formed by the wedge gap increase with the increase of the adsorbed layer thickness and the surface viscosity.When the inlet film thickness changes in a certain range,the pressure and load capacity are also increased.But the inlet film thickness is larger than a certain value,the two will no longer change.At last,the characteristics of the journal bearing are investigated under aqueous solution,the influences of the adsorbed layer thickness,the surface viscosity,the eccentricity and the width-diameter ratio on the pressure distribution,load capacity and attitude angle of journal bearing are studied.The results show that the pressure of journal bearing increase with the increasing of the adsorbed layer thickness,the surface viscosity and the eccentricity.For the finite length journal bearing,the pressure increase with the increase of the width-diameter ratio.When the eccentricity and width-diameter ratio are small,the load capacity don't change with the adsorbed layer thickness and surface viscosity,and with the increase of the eccentricity and width-diameter ratio,their changes become more and more obvious.The load capacity also increase with the increasing of the eccentricity and width-diameter ratio.The attitude angle of journal bearing decrease with the increase of eccentricity.When the eccentricity is small,the attitude angle don't change with the variation of the adsorbed layer thickness and surface viscosity.However,with the increase of the eccentricity,the attitude angle decrease with the increase of the two.The attitude angle of the finite length journal bearing have little change with the width-diameter ratio.In this study,the characteristics of slide block and journal bearing are discussed under aqueous solution in thin film lubrication,which provides a stable theoretical foundation for the application of water-based lubricants.
