The Shipping Pipe System is the bond of the ship equipment,and the crucial component of the ship system.Most of the pipelines work in poor circumstances.Locating in vibration,corrosion,high temperature and high pressure circumstances.The ship pipeline leakage accidents often happen,what has brought significant safe hidden trouble for the safe navigation and the ship equipment's safe operation.Some accidents can even be life-threatening.And it is difficult to find the ship pipeline leakage,which causes the great difficulty for the marine engineers to troubleshoot instantly.Therefore,the research of the ship pipeline leakage has great practical significance.In this paper,based on pipeline transmission model,which combined with the Bernoulli equation,equations of motion and the equation of continuity.To address the straight pipeline problems,the state parameter of the pipe system was calculated on theory to design and build the ship ballast water system,then compare the theoretical value and experimental value and set the alarm threshold,so as to real-time monitoring the pipe system.Once beyond the alarm threshold,the pipeline leaks.In the end,the leak positioning is calculated by the pressure gradient method,which shows the feasibility and accuracy to solve the straight pipeline of the leak positioning problems by the pressure gradient method.Then based on the actual pipeline system equipped with butterfly valves,bends and so on,using FLOWMASTER(thermal fluid simulation software)to model the system design,the butterfly valves and the bends convert into straight pipe by applying the method of equivalent length,in order to do the research of the leak positioning.By this way,not only make the positioning results more accurate,and at the same time reduce the false alarm caused by operating equipment,it has practical application value.As a result,based on the method of equivalent length of the leak positioning for the actual pipeline system can effectively solve the false alarm caused by operation,and improve the positioning accuracy.The maximum relative location error is 1.8%,and the accuracy has improved to 5.4%.
