With the development of electronic equipment and portable devices,the demands of convenient and reliable power supply have gone rapidly.With the utilization of wireless power delivery technology,these requirements can be satisfied well.Wireless power delivery technology is widely used,ranging from electric car charging to power delivery between chips,and the vital modules in the technology is the coupling inductors and power transceiver circuit.This thesis discusses two special applying environments of wireless power transmission and the energy recovering under these environments,which are inductive power delivery to IC chips and self-energy harvesting in high-voltage transmission lines.Firstly,this thesis introduces the operation theory of wireless power delivery system,analyses the energy recovering efficiency and optimization methods of inductive coupling power delivery system.The usage of HFSS(High Frequency Structure Simulator)is also introduced.This software is useful in simulating inductor.Also,in this thesis,the design rules of on chip inductor are listed.Finally,the parameters of the inductors simulated by the software are used to design the inductive coupling power delivery system which is based on smic18mmrf technology.The delivery chip success in transferring 16mW power,the output voltage reaches 1.4V,the output current reaches 11.7mA,the power density reaches 878mW/mm2.The total process of the chip design was completed from schematic design to the layout design,and eventually the layout submitted to the foundry.In the self-energy harvesting system,we redesign the type of the induction coil,and the formula about the induced voltage of the coil is deduced under the new type of the coil.What's more,the experiments are made to verify the derived formula.Besides,the combination of the coil structure and CMOS technology make it possible to integrate the energy harvesting system.It can not only reduce the volume of the whole system,but also make it more adaptable to the complicated application sites.In addition,it makes the integration of energy harvesting system and monitoring possible because of the same process technology.The experiments results shows that the energy harvesting system based on the new type of induction coil can get the power not lower than 50mW.
