The rapid development of the automobile industry has brought great convenience to human traffic,but at the same time,the problem of environmental pollution,global warming and energy shortage have become increasingly prominent.Therefore,new energy vehicles,especially electric vehicles,achieve rapid development in recent years.The motor driver system is one of the core technologies of electric vehicles,and the drive inverter is an important factor that affects energy efficiency,safety and reliability of the electric vehicles.This paper studies motor drive inverter for electric vehicles.Chapter 1 introduces the cooling system and the use of new power devices such as SiC can improve the power density of the inverter.Then,the control strategies of PMSM are analyzed,and the ways of rotor position detection are compared.Chapter 2 studies design of cooling system for the air-cooled inverter.By establishing the thermal resistance model of the inverter and the heat sink,the relationship between the thermal resistance and the geometric parameters is obtained,and the parameters are designed.Theoretical design is validated by thermal simulation and experiments.Also the thermal design of SiC MOSFET and Si IGBT experimental platform is compared.Chapter 3 is based on the mathematic model of PMSM and aiming at field-oriented control strategy(id=0).Then hardware circuits and software systems are designed,and the design of rotor position detection circuit based on the resolver is mainly analyzed.A 10kW SiC MOSFET motor driver inverter experimental platform is built,then the rotor position detection circuit and the control strategy of PMSM are verified by experiment.Chapter 4 makes the summary of the current research work,and looks forward to the future work.
