Concrete box culvert is used for long distance water delivery,as a quick,efficient and safe way to transfer water.For such a large-scale water conveyance project,concrete box culvert deformation seam sealing surface is a very weak link,if not handled properly,very easy to generate leakage,not only cause water pollution and water resource waste,and even cause the foundation uneven settlement,destroyed the stability of the box culvert structure,and to the future maintenance work difficult,increased operating costs and affect the safety of water supply.This combination of a water diversion project in Tianjin city scale,structure and operation characteristics,according to the relevant specifications,engineering design and construction environment,carry out the concrete water box culvert deformation joint surface waterproof sealant material test,trench type test,interface agent test and the bearing test,made a lot of test data,and the the results are analyzed for the actual project to determine the deformation of box culvert provides strong technical support seam surface waterproof materials,design and construction technology application.The main work is as follows:(1)To study the polysulfide sealant construction technology,deformation joint foundation section form,good sealing effect and confirms the structure of construction.(2)Research and test of common surface waterproof type and building sealant,and indoor small water tightness test of various sealing sealing material form and good quality,to determine the initial performance of joint surface waterproof form deformation better.(3)A long-term water resistance test was carried out to determine the performance of the deformation,and the operating conditions of the deformation joints in water were verified.(4)The dissolution test carried out water immersion on the sealing material with good performance,determination of the sealing material changes in a certain period of water immersion,and then determine the conditions of sealing material effects on water quality.(5)Commonly used for surface deformation joint sealing material,field test was carried out to verify.Test results show that the selection of the site selection of the sealing performance can meet the requirements,but the need to improve the construction process,to ensure the construction quality.
