Freeway Tunnel Intelligent Emergency Fire System Planning And Fire Railcar Design

With the increasing mileage of freeways in China,the numbers of conflagration on freeways have increased sharply.There is little perfect solution to the outbreak of conflagration on freeways around the world.When faced with vehicle conflagration,most drivers will abandon their cars and dial 119 for help in China.However,most of our fire brigaded are located in urban areas which are far away from the freeways,making it difficult to arrive at the scene of conflagration within "the golden 10 minutes",usually missing the best time for firefighting,leading to huge economic losses,even human injuries and deaths.In face of this kind of situation,it is urgent to develop a better fire system to solve the problem.The intelligent emergency fire system in freeway tunnels takes the fire railcar,which is hanging in the vault of the tunnel,as the carrier to perform moved or fixed firefighting.Focused on the vehicle conflagration happened in the tunnels,the system can also extinguishes fire on vehicle which has been on fire outside the tunnel,but driver have not been aware or the fire is small so that it can enter the tunnel for firefighting.In this thesis,starting from the features of conflagration on freeways,the function list of the fire system is refined by investigation and analysis to guide the planning of intelligent emergency fire system in freeway tunnels as well as the design of fire railcar in tunnels.In the first part,the function list of the fire system is refined on the basis of research and analysis of freeway conflagrations.The analysis is performed mainly from the causes,features and harm of tunnel conflagrations,as well as distribution features and types of accidents.Combining the surveys on firemen,freeway personnel and affected drivers,the requirements of intelligent emergency system in freeway tunnels are refined to obtain the function list.The second part is the planning of intelligent emergency system in freeway tunnels.Under the guide of function list of intelligent emergency system in freeway tunnels,six subsystems,including fire alarm system,tunnel fire railcar operation system,fire linkage control system,material supply and maintenance system,emergency evacuation system and broadcast and emergency telephone system,are designed and planned.The third part is the design process of tunnel fire railcars.Through the analysis of functional and structural factors,styling factors,and CMF design factors of fire railcar in freeway tunnels,the design orientation of the tunnel fire railcar is determined combining the function list of intelligent fire system in freeway tunnels,so as to carry out the design of tunnel fire railcar.
