The Research Of Repair Technology For Modern Diaolou Building In Lingnan

As a part of Chinese modern architecture, Lingnan Diaolou building is the carrier for the development history of the Pearl River Delta region and the Overseas Chinese area of South China especially. Due to the geographical environment, social security and overseas Chinese culture and other factors, Diaolou building develops rapidly and become a local characteristics building type. After 1949, due to social environment change, as a defensive Diaolou building lost the most core value, and was dismantling large amount. In the past ten years, with the increasing awareness of the building heritage protection from the community,there started to work in the protection of architectural heritage, and today there was putting a lot of work in setting up the protection and management system for renovation and activation.But at the same time there are some difficulties, it is mainly in the short of induction and research of the original process, raw materials and repair technology for this building type.Based on the geographical conditions, humanistic characteristics and the development process of Diaolou building, this dissertation summed up the repair technology of the Lingnan modern Diaolou building through the analysis of the experience of large number of projects.This is divided into three parts: the first part is the formation and development of the modern Diaolou building in Lingnan, that is, the second chapter, starting from the macro historical background of Lingnan, combining with the development of the Lingnan geography and climate environment, expounded the historical conditions of the emergence of modern Diaolou building in Lingnan in order to better understand the rise and development of the construction of the Diaolou building in Lingnan to the decline of the development process, to understand the inherent historical and cultural logic relations and rich historical value. The second part is the third chapter, which is the principle of repairing the modern Diaolou building in Lingnan. By analyzing the protection and repair law of domestic and foreign cultural relics, the author sums up the principle of repairing and protecting the construction of modern Diaolou building in Lingnan. The third part is the repair technology of the various parts of the Diaolou building in the Lingnan modern era, that is, the fourth and fifth chapters,on the basis of participating in the construction of a large number of Diaolou buildings,through the analysis of materials, construction and damage reasons, summed up the various parts of the building, such as Floor, roof, wall, doors and windows,stair and decorative components of the repair technology.Based on the large number of actual renovation projects, writer hope there summed up in line with Lingnan modern Diaolou building repair technology, for the Lingnan modern Diaolou building repair to provide effective and feasible repair ideas and method.
