Structure Characteristics And Protection Renewal Of Modern Architecture In Lingnan

In history,Lingnan became the starting point of the Marine Silk Road because of its unique geographical location.The policy of prohibition and Commerce in Ming and Qing Dynasties initiated the modernization of Lingnan architecture.Under the background of the westerly wind eastward,Chinese and Western architectural culture merged slowly.After the Opium War,the strong entry of Western architectural culture brought about the results of the industrial revolution in Europe.The collision between Chinese and foreign architectural concepts promoted the rapid development of architectural art and structural technology.Many excellent modern buildings were born and the climax of modern architectural development in Lingnan was formed.Based on the concept of "architecture is construction",this paper starts from the origin of construction,and chooses the structural features which are the closest to the achievements of the European Industrial Revolution as the breakthrough point to carry out the study of modern architecture in Lingnan.From the time dimension,this paper combs the development of modern architectural structure in Lingnan,brings the early modern history of Portuguese landing in Macao from the late Ming Dynasty to the thirteenth line of Guangzhou in Qing Dynasty into the research field,and mainly expounds the general situation of architectural structure development in Guangdong,Hong Kong,Macao,coastal open-port cities and overseas Chinese villages since modern times.Through the comprehensive analysis of history,geography,climate,humanities and other factors,this paper summarizes the characteristics of the contemporary,regional and cultural development of Lingnan modern architectural structure.On the study of structural characteristics,the article respectively from three aspects of structural materials,structural structure,construction technology,to build a complementary research framework.Structural material is the material basis of structural system,and the progress of material is the cornerstone of all structural technology development.This paper studies the material characteristics of masonry structure,concrete structure and steel structure respectively,and the corresponding architectural types and structural system changes,presenting the basic of modern architectural structure.Features.Structural structure is a combination and constitutive relationship between the various components of the structure to adapt to the characteristics of materials.Its shape and mechanism directly affect the elevation of the building image,is an important component of structural characteristics.Construction technology is the concrete implementation of the construction,foreign technology is bound to merge with the local technology,showing a "combination of local and foreign" regional characteristics.The article points out that the characteristics of modern architectural structure in south of the Five Ridges is an important part of architectural heritage protection.Based on the protection and reuse of structural characteristics,the article first summarizes the principles of international conventions and domestic laws and regulations as the basis for protection and utilization,and emphasizes the importance and prerequisite of structural characteristics protection.Secondly,on the basis of traditional local protection methods,the concept of integral protection is put forward,aiming at solving the problem that the original structure can not meet the current norms and the new requirements of use;based on the international consensus of "utilization is beneficial to protection",and on the basis of abiding by the protection principle,the feasible strategy of structural space transformation is put forward..Finally,the paper compares and analyzes the gap between the protection of historical and cultural relics at home and abroad,and points out that the standardization of the protection procedure is an effective means to ensure the controllable protection effect.On the basis of expounding the concrete contents,legal procedures and operation methods of the protection in different stages,the author formulates the Manual for the Protection and Utilization of Modern Building Structures in Lingnan.As a standardized document of the whole process of protection and utilization of historical and cultural relics,it has a strong operability.At the end of the paper,the whole research results are summarized.The innovative achievements of this paper include: 1)Studying the development characteristics of Lingnan modern architecture from a new perspective of structure,systematically combing the development of Lingnan modern architecture structure,summarizing the epochal,regional and cultural development of Lingnan modern architecture structure,to a certain extent,filling the gap in this field.2)To elaborate and systematically summarize the technical and artistic features of Lingnan modern architectural structure,to re-recognize the aesthetic value of structural features to architectural form,and to point out that structural characteristics are an important part of the protection of architectural heritage,and to classify,dating and harmonizing modern architecture.It provides important basis for protection and utilization.3)According to international conventions and national norms,the nine principles and solutions of structural protection,space transformation and sustainable utilization are put forward,and the Manual for the Protection and Utilization of Modern Building Structures in Lingnan is formulated to promote the standardized procedures of protection and utilization,so as to ensure the controllability of the implementation effect,which has great practical significance.
