The failure of the transverse connection of the small box girder bridge will reduce the integrity of the bridge structure and affect the lateral distribution of the load,which will result in the deflection of the stressed beam increases and the non-stressed beam decreases.So that the stressed beam and the non-stressed beam can not work well together,the stressed beam prone to damage.How serious when there is a "single-stressed beam" situation,which will be a great safety hazard for transportation.In order to solve this problem,an effective method of transverse connection failure should be formed,which could fully excavate the carrying capacity of box girder structure and provide reasonable measures for the maintenance and reinforcement of box girder structure.At present,there is no set of effective and systematic assessment of the wet joint damage for small box girder bridge.Therefore,it is very meaningful to carry out the research of the identification method of wet joint damage for small box girder bridge.In this paper,using Midas/civil calculation and analysis softwis analysis the wet joint damage of common box girder bridge,the main research work:(1)Using the change of the connection of the wet joint to the small box girder simulate the different degree of damage.Based on the load test,a simulated analysis of wet joint damage in different working conditions was carried out for 20m,30m span 4-beam simply supported box girder bridge and 3 x 30m 4-beam continuous box girder bridge.And the damage location and the damage degree of the wet joint were identified by using the transverse distribution chart under various working conditions.(2)Load test will spend a lot of manpower and material resources and may cause some damage to the old bridge,so it is clearly unscientific to simply explore the wet joint damage conditions to do the load test.In the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter,a method of lightweight loading is proposed for the three-piece,three-piece,five-beam simple-support box girder bridge and 3 x 30m 4-piece,5-beam continuous box girder bridge.The damage location and the damage degree of the wet joint were identified by using the transverse distribution chart under various working conditions.
