With the continuous development of human beings, civil engineering activities which is closely related to human survival conditions become more and more, the project of foundation pit engineering also become more and more. Over the past 1950 years, the domestic and international began construction of underground engineering, at the same time, the height of the building is higher and higher. At home, in recent years, underground facilities which is used for various purposes have sprung up, these facilities require the excavation of foundation pit, therefore, and the reasonable design of foundation pit and safety construction is very important for foundation pit. Meanwhile, the foundation pit become deeper and deeper and the scale of foundation pit become biger and biger. So the emergence of the potential safety hazard in the foundation pit have increased. The supporting design of deep foundation pit and construction technology has drawn greater attention, and it has become an important issue in the field of civil engineering.This paper, taking shandong commercial port of foundation pit engineering in one hundred as the background, introduces the engineering general situation, analyses the landform, strata, hydrogeology conditions and the surrounding environment and the pipeline distribution, summarizes the shandong together one hundred commercial port of foundation pit engineering features and difficulties.
