Research On Freestanding Architechtural Form Of The Subway Entrance In Beijing

As the capital city in China,Beijing is in the flourishing development stage of subway construction with large population and increasing urban traffic pressure. In the process of subway construction, the problem is that the form of Beijing subway entrance is rigid and circumscribed.As the key urban space point contacting aboveground and underground,the subway entrance not only satisfies function needs,but also affects urban space quality as a part of urban landscape.This paper regards freestanding entrance in Beijing with large quantity and wide distribution as research object and trys to provide some references and ideas for freestanding subway entrance in Beijing and other cities through studying the form of freestanding subway entrance,factors affecting the forms and analyzing the relations between surroundings and forms.This paper studies from the following aspects:firstly,raising questions,discussing the study value and meaning of this issue,elaborating research object and doing the limitation of studying scope and explaination of related concepts.Then,reviewing and summarizing architectural form evolution at home and abroad and related theories to ensure study frame. Secondly, doing research and analyzing the research results. On the foundation of wide study for Beijing freestanding subway entrance,this paper chooses typical case analysis of Beijing subway station to analyze architectural form from the main element pattern of entrance architectural form.Thirdly,summarizing the design elements of architectural form,and discussing and analyzing 3 aspects of architectural form:form,color and material,and surroundinds and emotions.Finally,raising design principles of Beijing entrance subway architectural form and prospects for the future.
