Consequently it has significant impact on engine performance, reliability, economical efficiency, durability and emissions.Hereby take thermal management system of high power diesel generating sets from Weichai heavy machinery co., Ltd. as the research object, using AMESim software for modeling and simulation analysis to analyze its components, structure and working principle, build the thermal management system model and further simplify,optimize and verify the system in practice. Against the features of this thermal management system and related parameters of simulation analysis, put forward the improvement measures and matching proposal for the thermal management system of heavy duty diesel generating sets.In this article, analyze the performance of thermal management system and simulation & analysis software by researching and comprising the world leading brand, choose AMESim as modeling and simulation tool to research thermal exchange of thermal management system of heavy duty diesel generating sets, and explain the feature of this software. Then against the modeling object-engine +plate heat exchanger +cooling tower, thermostatic valve+water pump, make a comprehensive analyzing of its main components, structure and main considerations,which lays the theoretic foundation for the following use of simulation & modeling software.Establish the system model according to the working principle; acquire the performance data of key components; model select for the parts of this system; define relevant parameters in accordance with characteristic of these parts; the effectiveness of the established simulation model is approved by testing. To evaluate the performance of the thermal management system of heavy duty diesel generating sets and the influencing factors proportion,the simulating results for influencing regularity of environmental temperature to system’s heat radiation shows that : in such case that water pump displacement below the level,then the capacity couldn’t meet the heat radiation needs for the coolant in the engine or the intake air after charge air cooler. On the contrary, beyond the level could cause the over-cool working condition; the simulating results for influencing regularity of radiator scaling to system’s heat radiation shows that : the heat exchange area of radiator and efficiency of heat convection could decrease as the result of radiator ’s scaling, which will serious influence the radiation performance of coolant in the engine and charge air cooler, resulted in the deterioration of engine property and reliability. |
