With the deepening of the human earthquake knowledge,on the means against earthquake disasters from negative,passive "earthquake" to the positive,proactive "control shock" and "shock",arises at the historic moment of buckling constraint support(Bucking-restrained Brace,referred to as "BRB")as a new type of seismic energy material,both at home and abroad is widely used in seismic mitigation and retrofitting of new buildings,because the practice has proved it has good ductility and energy dissipation capacity,overcomes the drawback of traditional supporting,and easy installation,short construction period,get a lot of use.This paper introduces the tectonic structure of BRB,can show the advantages,as well as the domestic and foreign research present situation and many engineering applications.From theory to support the overall buckling constraints,kernel unit and connecting unit is analyzed,and then from the perspective of the structure analysis of the influencing factors of buckling constraint support energy dissipation,derived on the basis of BRB damping principle of energy consumption,it is concluded that the mechanical model and analysis method of energy consumption calculation.Secondly combining engineering examples,the finite element software SAP2000 to the instance in the case of three sets of elastic and elastic-plastic phase,this paper compares and analyzes to the instance in the pure,the common reinforced concrete frame support frame and BRB frame set three conditions for modal analysis of natural vibration characteristics of basic parameter,and then through the response spectrum analysis,show that support is not fully entered the stage of plastic buckling constraints,have been able to effective energy consumption.Last time history analysis using SAP2000 software,using analysis of severe earthquake and the rarely met earthquake,key research in the flame under the condition of buckling constraint support into plastic state,the structure of three kinds of set for more analysis,show that buckling constraint support has obvious shock absorption effect.
