| Cooling system is the main components of wheel loader,whose main function is to remain heat balance of engine,hydraulic system and transmission to secure the best operation situation of machine.Meanwhile,the high temperature is mostly like to happen in complex operation status,which has already become one of factors to influence the reliability and efficiency of system and components.Based on one wheel loader,root cause of high temperature issue and typical heat load was deeply investigated,cooling performance and fluid parameter were calculated by Kuli and CFD software,the improving solution was proposed based on the simulation results and was verified by field test.To pre-study for the improvement solution with simulation software not only huge reduced design lead-time,but also optimized product development process and made concrete basis for future new product from theory and practice perspective.Main research and conclusions as for cooling performance of heat balance study as below:1.Heat transferring theory was systematically studied,which is the basis for typical heat load introduction of wheel loader and radiator category and principle,which is the basic theory for cooling performance study and improvement solutions proposal.2.Based on component performance curve,preliminary cooling performance was calculated by Kuli,with whose simulation result,the suction air solution was proposed,and also improve the layout and structure of cooling system.Through optimized component performance from supplier,cooling performance of machine perspective was studied by STAR-CCM+,not only made air velocity,pressure and temperature legend is available,but also got the cooling performance with full load of wheel loader,which means the LAT(Limit Ambient Temperature)of coolant and hydraulic oil increased by 8℃ and 9℃ respectively.It could be found that the suction air solution mostly increased the cooling performance comparing current blow solution.3.Under typical operation condition from supplier survey,the Y mode of operation was applied for solution verification,the results shows that the LAT of coolant and hydraulic oil increased by 9℃ and 13℃,which is within the acceptable level and very close to the simulation results with good simulation verification. |
