With the continuous development of communication technology, power communicative transmission network plays an important role in power production and operation. The use of carrier communication over the past few less has gradually quit the stage, instead of the optical fiber, satellite, wireless 4G and other means of communication. At present, widely used in electric power communication SDH (synchronous digital hierarchy), mainly by the Inner Mongolia electric power SDH transmission network carrying all kinds of important communication services, including telephone scheduling and communication network, relay protection, security device, information network, to ensure the safe and stable operation of power grid.Inner Mongolia electric power SDH transmission network to cover all fiber network structure as the main body, and from a single type of equipment to the progressive development of synchronous digital series multiple brands and models (Synchronous Digital, Hierarchy, SDH) of the transmission equipment. In the SDH transmission network, whether signals can accurately transfer in various devices will affect clock synchronization. If the clock is not synchronized, it will produce error, seriously it will affect the normal transmission of all kinds of business. As the number of network equipment in Inner Mongolia electric power SDH transmission network expansion, extension of the existing SDH transmission network clock synchronization equipment configuration and distribution planning are the existence of hidden dangers. In this paper, based on the current status of synchronization clock distribution on Inner Mongolia electric power SDH transmission network, we will analysis of the potential risks to improvement and optimization of the equipment configuration and distribution planning.First of all, in this article it tells SDH basic concepts, transmission multiplexing principle, synchronization technology, clock structure and timing mode of synchronous digital network, and the relationship between the clock synchronization network and SDH network. And then tells the network structure of synchronous clock system, the analysis of the impact of different timing methods on SDH synchronization network. And then, mainly through the analysis of Inner Mongolia electric power SDH transmission network clock synchronization status, found defects in the synchronous clock network at present, combined with the existing equipment and distribution, through the analysis of software technology, the synchronous clock network to carry on reasonable planning, and further improve the network stability and accuracy. In the end, after the detection of software and the accuracy of the related synchronization equipment, it is proved that the improvement and optimization of the project is significant.
