With the development of economic globalization,port logistics industry,require port crane has a higher handling capacity and efficiency.Since the operating conditions of port and the working environment of port equipment is more complex,lifting machinery used in the process will produce a lot of unpredictable failures or defects,when the faults has not been resolved and exclusion timely,a serious accident would occur,resulting in casualties and economic losses.Therefore,the port crane safety supervision is particularly important.Currently,crane safety monitoring system has some problems,such as: monitoring means is imperfect;inadequate monitoring parameters and so on.To solve these problems,this paper designed a set of rubber-tyred gantry cranes(RTG)safety monitoring system,the main design elements include:(1)The PLC real-time communication model is established.The data generated by RTG after PLC processing via Industrial Ethernet is passed to the monitoring center of safety monitoring system,can realize the monitoring software and data from point to point interactive.(2)By studying the video and audio collection,transmission and compression technology,recording the driver operates the operation,voice and cab equipment field operating conditions and other environmental information,and information can be stored and played back.Meanwhile,the design and development of security monitoring software,the transferred equipment operating parameters,structural stress: condition,driver operation instruction,the driver voice recording and screen handling records monitor local and remote data storage,display.(3)Study of a strain-based test methods based on T DC(time to digital converter)technology,the long-term stress crane operation in case of effective monitoring and predictive diagnostics to ensure safe and efficient operation.(4)Study on 2.4G band wireless bridge erection,access and transmission technology.The local monitoring data using a wireless network is sent to the control room on the rear of the server,remote real-time monitoring and data redundancy.Through the above research,design and implement a complete yard line with actual business needs of security monitoring system,to better monitor the health status of equipment,provide a guarantee for safe operation of equipment,also indirectly bring economic benefit to enterprises.
