| The research object of this thesis is the open space of Yisa Town, which is a mountain town with abundant historical heritages and distinctive building forms. It reveals unique local charm that is different from plain towns. The differentiations are expressed not only in large-scale planar open spaces such as Mabang manor and Xishan Park, but also in dotted-like open spaces.The rapid develop in the new district of Yisa brought from economic growth in recent years have almost broken down the historic heritages in the old town. It results in problems like the loss of local culture in open spaces and destruction of the formation mechanism of open space. In addition, with the rise of tourist industry, the function of the public space be transformed. So the service people also gradually changes. We need to perfect and improve the present situation of space, in order to satisfy the needs of the future tourism activities.With the problems above, we analyzed the development process of Yisa and evolution stages of open spaces in Yisa; evaluated the inscape of the open spaces and some representative open spaces comprehensively; and discussed the future construction of the open spaces in Yisa Town.This thesis has 7 chapters and 4 parts:The first part is Chapter 1 ad Chapter 2. It includes the introduction of the open spaces in mountainous town, research objective, research significance, research scope and basic concepts, which serve as a basic knowledge structure.The second part is Chapter 3. This part seeks to find the connection between different development stages and the development trend of the open spaces, and then conclude the main factors that influence the evolution of the open spaced in Yisa.The third part is Chapter 4 and Chapter 5, which is analyzing section. We analyzed the construction of the open spaces in Yisa with macroscopic-level, medium-level and micro-level.The last part of this thesis is Chapter 6 and Chapter 7. In this part, on the basis of the studies above, we put forward some principles and strategies about the construction of the open spaces in Yisa with the objective of extending local characteristics and meeting the needs for sustainable development. |
