Research On Safety Warning System Of Icy Road Base On Multi-parameters

In winter,the traffic on road has been affected by icing seriously,which is one of the most adverse weather conditions that threatened the traffic safety.Therefore,how to detect icing time,ice thickness and icing speed on pavement accurately and then building an icing road safety warning system have very important social significance and application value.The icing conditions of pavement would be affected by parameters,such as the atmospheric pressure,air humidity,environment temperature,the speed and direction of the wind and so on.This paper focused on taking these parameters into account,and then building an icing road safety warning system base on multi-parameters.By using this warning system,the icing conditions could be monitored on pavement automatically and warned on time when the pavement surface began to come into freezing,which is in order to achieve the goal that the number of traffic accidents could be reduced and the driving safety on road could be improved effectively in winter.At first,the research background and significance has been elaborated,then the main content and research methods have been introduced,this paper used the research methods of putting physical environment investigation,laboratory test,regression analysis and field measurement together;and then made a detailed overview and summary for the icing road safety warning system;after that,according to the current situation that the domestic and foreign existing ice sensor cannot be used in road field directly,an ice sensor has been developed for the warning system in this research,which has ensured the reliability of the early warning system.In the next step,parameters such as ice thickness,the atmospheric pressure,air humidity,environment temperature,the speed and direction of the wind and so on have been measured actually on the road,and icing road safety warning system based on multi-parameters has been built and improved.This system's building has made it possible that the situation of road icing was fed back to road management department on time,or has made it possible that warned real-timely via the warning information on the roadside sign,which can improve the driving safety on road effectively and reduce the number of traffic accidents.After being used on road,this warning system works basically stable,and the data is reliable,it could be concluded that the warning system has very ideal value in use and good development prospect in the future.
