As the application of xenon lamp are grew in the venue lighting,medical and health care,traffic safety and other related fields,the product's quality of xenon lamp gets the attention of many users.To evaluate the performance of the xenon lamp,the xenon lamp is equipped with the lighting parameters distribution curve in the factory,it can be as a benchmark to compare with the practical work of xenon lamp lighting parameters distribution curve in the process of employing.To detect the lighting parameters with the fixed test point,the traditional method for measuring the lighting parameters of xenon lamp used the integral sphere as a container.Due to the limited test point and the measurement data is a lack of convincing,unable to assess the performance of xenon lamp,and cannot meet the needs of production enterprises.The xenon lamp lighting parameters measurement system of digital,intelligent,multiple measuring angles has become an inevitable trend.To complete the real-time acquisition,storage,and analyze the xenon lamp lighting parameters,the topic has designed a kind of control system,which can control the PLC,mechanical arm,power supply system and data acquisition instrument,and its PC's interface is designed by Lab VIEW.The main research content of this article includes the following several parts.The mechanical arm control system is designed based on the AB PLC.According to the parameters of the mechanical arm,to select the stepper motor,driver,couplings and encoder.PLC ladder diagram program is designed,PLC is used to control the mechanical arm,and the robotic arm is used to drive the sensor which can completes the reciprocating movement from the cathode of xenon lamp to the anode.The data acquisition system which is designed based on Keithley2701 instrument.Keithley2701 and Keithley7700 is used to detect the radiation intensity,illumination and temperature parameters of the xenon lamp.The PC interface is designed by Lab VIEW.According to the requirements of project,the AB PLC,Keithley2701 and xenon lamp power are controlled by programming which is designed by the graphical language of the Lab VIEW development environment.The configuration of communicating is based on OPC technology.Through the network configuration,the controller and switches is connected to realize the communication between the PC and each control module.Completed the overall debugging of the measurement and control system.The lighting parameters of the system actually measured is compared with the benchmark to analyze the uniformity and luminous efficiency of xenon lamp,and evaluate its performance.By observing the actual operation situation of the control system and analyzing the testing data,it can be proved that the control system has reached the design requirements in controlling and test precision.After the operation,the system can be detect the lighting parameters of the xenon lamp accurately and effectively in real-time.
