| Ultrasonic flow meter(UFM)has been researched for number of years,because of its high precision,high reliability and pressure lossless features.In the early days,UFM is mainly used in industry,aerospace engineering,energy sources measurement and etc.,where high power consumption and low small flow precision is acceptable.As the electronic and transducer technique’s progress,UFM with battery powered has become a mature technology,and been widely used in heat supply,water supply and natural gas pipe network construction.In order to reduce power dissipation and cost,the battery-powered UFM usually use a single chip microcomputer as the core of control circuit,which is operational capability limited.As a result,the traditional suppression method of UFM zero error can’t be applied any more.So this subject aims to introduce a novel ultrasonic flow measurement method based on a new ultrasonic transducer module with reference channel.It can eliminate the zero error of UFM which is resulted by the difference of transducers.This article is divided into six chapters:The first part outlines the concepts and research status of UFM and ultrasonic transducer,especially introduces the commonly used solution of UFM zero error elimination.The second part explains scientifically the operating mechanism of ultrasonic transducer module with reference channel.On the basis of previous research,this article proposes a series of optimization scheme on structural design and material selection.According to the operation requirements of ultrasonic transducer module,the third part proposes an integrated experiment platform with hardware and software.The hardware includes high precision timing circuits and small-signal processing circuits.The software is consisting of temperature measuring program and flow measuring program.In order to verify the validity of this measurement method,the fourth part builds a circuit simulation model of the measurement system with the OrCAD PSPICE software,and analyzes in detail the influence of characteristic parameter of transducer to measurement precision.In the fifth part,a series of test are made to verify the actual performance of this novel measurement method.The test results indicate the method is effective.At the end of this thesis,a conclusion is made to summarize the work of this project and put forward some prospects. |
