The system of integrated starter/generator being studied by many scholars currently has the function of starting and generating electricity.It can improve the power of the vehicle power system,improve the space utilization ratio and reduce the weight.In this paper,the system of integrated starter/generator which is composed of battery,inverter,the open-end wingding permanent magnet motor,switch and rectifier-bridge is designed.The system proposed in this paper can realize the fast-start,high efficiency power generation,switch freely between starting and power generation and output constant DC voltage in the wide speed range.It has a high use value in the integrated system.Firstly,in this paper,the development of the open-end wingding motor and the research status of the system of integrated starter/generator are introduced,then a idea of applying the open-end wingding motor to the integrated system is proposed.Secondly,the topology structure of the system of integrated starter/generator based on the open-end wingding permanent magnet synchronous motor is designed and the electrical characteristics and mathematical model of the open-end wingding permanent magnet motor are explained in detail.After that,the principle of the system of integrated starter/generator is divided into three parts to explain.First is starting operation,second is switching process and third is power generation operation.The control strategies proposed in this paper are as follows:Starting stage,the open-end wingding permanent magnet motor is turned into the general motor with winding "Y" connecting by closing the switch.In this stage,the speed current double closed-loop vector control strategy is adopted to realize the fast starting.In the power generation stage,the motor windings return to the open state by opening the switch and the voltage current double closed-loop vector control strategy is adopted to realize the regulation of DC output voltage.Finally,the simulation and experiment verification of the system of integrated starter/generator based on the open-end wingding permanent magnet synchronous motor are carried out.In the software of Matlab/Simulink,the main body of the open-end wingding permanent magnet synchronous motor and the SVPWM module are built.The two modules are used to construct the integrated system simulation platform.The simulation results show that the starting performance of the system is good,the switching process is stable and the dynamic and steady state performance of voltage regulating is good.A experiment platform with the TMS320F2812 as the core is built up and the corresponding hardware and software design are designed for the above analyses.The experiment analyses which include the starting operation,the switching process and the power generation process under the conditions of the load mutation and the speed variation are carried out by debugging the program in CCS3.3 with a 1kw open-end wingding permanent magnet synchronous motor.Experiment results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the integrated system's topology and control strategy proposed in this paper.
