Research On Ship Reporting Technology Based On AIS Shore-based Network

Ship report is an effective means to ensure the safety of ship navigation,which is mainly through radiocommunication technology.However,there is no uniform standard for the various reports,and the electronic and automatic report has not been realized,resulting in low information sharing rate.To address the existing problems of ship repor,IMO has proposed standardized and automated report by electronic means,and made this as part of the implementation of e-navigation strategy.Therefore,the research of ship reporting technology based on AIS shore-based network is introduced in this paper.Aiming at the shortcomings of ship reports in the VTS waters,this paper studies the ship reporting technology based on the AIS shore-based network.It hopes to replace VHF voice reports with standardized electronic reports to improve the efficiency of ship reporting.First of all,this paper studies the S-100 standard and its modeling method,and summarizes the VTS ship reporting information and the dynamic information of ship reporting of entering and departing port,and establishes the ship reporting data model,which standardizes the ship reporting information.Secondly,the method of binary coding is studied,and binary coding rules of the ship report are developed.The ship report is electronized and can be transmitted by AIS binary message.Thirdly,this paper studies ship automatic reporting technique,including base station auto-selection method,location-based ship automatic reporting technique,means of automatic acquisition of ship dynamic information,integration approach of ship reporting and AIS static information,and ship report compression algorithm,which realizes the automation of ship reporting.Finally,a ship reporting system based on the AIS shore-based network is developed,which implements and integrates the theories and approaches studied in this paper,and ship reporting based on AIS shore network is realized.The experiments are carried out through the AIS shipborne equipment and the AIS base station.The result shows that the reporting data compression ratio can reach 3-5 times by using the ship reporting technology studied in this paper.The technology ensures the efficient transmission of ship reporting information,and realizes the standardized,electronic and automatic report,which contributes to reduce the workload of the ship operators and improve the safety of ship navigation.
